TIME: 8:00 UTC (10:00 Central Europe, 13:30 India, 16:00 China) (Duration: 1 hour)
DESCRIPTION: When
it comes to designing microwave, radio frequency and optical components
and systems, CST STUDIO SUITE® has become the industry-standard tool
engineers turn to to optimize their electromagnetic (EM) designs. With
the release of CST STUDIO SUITE® 2014, advances have been made to offer a
more efficient approach for the simulation of both
individual components and full systems.
This webinar will demonstrate the new features available in CST STUDIO
SUITE and their application to microwave, RF and optical devices.
Different components require different simulation methods and we will
show how CST tools can help achieve robust, integrated designs through
various worked examples.
This webinar is part of CST's 2014 series. The schedule for the next two webinars in this series is:
- 2 April 2014: CST STUDIO SUITE 2014 – EDA/EMC Simulation
- 3 April 2014: CST STUDIO SUITE 2014 - LF Simulation

PRESENTER: Marc Rütschlin, CST Global Market Development Manager for MW & RF
Dr. Marc Rütschlin grew up and studied in
Stellenbosch, South Africa. After completing his PhD in Electronic
Engineering, with a focus on dielectric material characterization, he
did post-doctoral studies at NIST in Boulder, Colorado, and at the
University of Karlsruhe in Germany, with a focus on EM wave propagation
in buildings and small antenna design respectively. Marc joined CST in
2007, and currently works from CST’s UK office as the global market
development manager for MW&RF applications. |
